Rae of Change Launches with First Annual Dinner Gala to Address Addiction, Mental Health, and Overdoses
Colfax, WA – November 7, 2024 – Rae of Change: Lucy’s Legacy, a new nonprofit founded by Katrina Lautenschlager with her family by her side, will hold its inaugural dinner gala to raise awareness and offer solutions for addiction, mental health, and overdose crises impacting communities across the nation. Inspired by the memory of Lautenschlager’s late sister, Lucy, Rae of Change aims to break stigmas, provide educational resources, and create a support network.
The event will take place at the Palouse Empire Fairgrounds in Colfax, WA, from 5:30 to 10:00 PM, with a social hour starting at 5:30 PM. Keynote speakers include Phil Altmeyer, President of Union Gospel Mission, and Whitman County Undersheriff Chris Chapman. The Lautenschlager family will also share their personal journey, and a Q&A panel with all speakers will follow. Scholarships will be awarded to local students, and complimentary childcare is available for attendees who RSVP by November 8.
